How to create course bundles on Teachable
Quick Answer
Course bundles on Teachable are created through the Products section by selecting Bundle as the product type and adding existing courses. You can set bundle pricing, customize the sales page, and manage student access all from the dashboard.
Prerequisites
- Active Teachable account with at least 2 published courses
- Basic understanding of Teachable's admin dashboard
- Courses must be in published status
- Payment processor connected to your account
1
Access the Products Section
Log into your Teachable admin dashboard and navigate to the Products section in the left sidebar. Click on New Product in the top right corner of the page.
Tip
Make sure you have at least 2 published courses before creating a bundle
2
Select Bundle Product Type
In the product creation window, select Bundle as your product type. Enter a descriptive name for your bundle in the Product Name field and add a brief description that highlights the value of purchasing multiple courses together.
Tip
Use action-oriented names like 'Complete Marketing Mastery Bundle' rather than generic names
3
Add Courses to Your Bundle
In the Bundle Contents section, click Add Course to select which courses to include. Choose from your published courses by checking the boxes next to each course name. You can add as many courses as needed for your bundle.
Tip
Group related courses together for maximum value perception
4
Set Bundle Pricing and Options
Configure your pricing in the Pricing section. Set your bundle price (typically 20-40% less than individual course prices combined). Choose whether to offer One-time Payment, Payment Plan, or both options. Enable or disable Coupons as needed.
Tip
Display the individual course prices and savings to highlight the bundle value
5
Customize the Bundle Sales Page
Navigate to the Sales Page tab to customize your bundle's appearance. Upload a compelling bundle image, write detailed course descriptions, and add testimonials. Use the Page Builder to arrange sections like course curriculum, instructor bio, and FAQ.
Tip
Include a comparison table showing individual vs. bundle pricing
6
Configure Student Access Settings
In the Access section, set how students will access the bundled courses. Choose Immediate Access for all courses or set Drip Schedule if you want to release courses over time. Configure Completion Certificates for individual courses within the bundle.
7
Review and Publish Bundle
Click Preview to see how your bundle appears to students. Check all pricing, course listings, and page content. When satisfied, click Publish to make your bundle live. The bundle will appear in your Products list and be available for purchase.
Tip
Test the purchase process yourself using Teachable's test mode before going live
Troubleshooting
Cannot see courses when creating bundle
Ensure your courses are in Published status. Only published courses appear in the bundle creation interface. Check the Courses section and publish any draft courses first.
Bundle not appearing on school homepage
Go to Site > Pages > Homepage and ensure your bundle is featured in the courses section. You may need to manually add it using the Featured Courses widget.
Students can't access all bundle courses after purchase
Check the bundle's Access settings and verify all courses are properly linked. Go to Users and manually enroll affected students if needed.
Bundle pricing appears incorrect on checkout
Verify your pricing settings in the bundle configuration and check if any active coupons are interfering. Clear browser cache and test again in incognito mode.
