How to create your first workspace on Linear

Name your workspace
In the workspace setup screen, enter a name for your workspace in the Workspace name field. This is typically your company or team name. Choose a workspace URL - this creates your unique Linear subdomain like

Configure workspace settings

Enter a name for your first team in the Team name field. Choose a team identifier - a short 2-4 character code that will prefix your issue numbers (like
