How to set up note synchronization on Daino Notes

Open Daino Notes Settings
Launch Daino Notes and tap the Settings icon (gear symbol) in the top-right corner of the main screen. If using desktop, click File > Settings from the menu bar.

Navigate to Sync Options
In the Settings menu, scroll down and tap Sync & Backup. This will open the synchronization configuration panel where you can manage all sync-related settings.

Choose Your Cloud Service
Select your preferred synchronization method:
- Google Drive - Tap to connect your Google account
- Dropbox - Tap to connect your Dropbox account
- Daino Cloud - Use the built-in cloud service

Authenticate Your Account
After selecting your cloud service, tap Connect Account. You'll be redirected to the authentication page. Enter your credentials and tap Allow to grant Daino Notes access to your cloud storage.

Configure Sync Settings
Set your synchronization preferences:
- Toggle Auto Sync to enable automatic synchronization
- Set Sync Frequency (Real-time, Every 5 minutes, or Manual)
- Choose Sync Content (Notes only, Images included, or All attachments)

Real-time sync uses more battery but ensures instant updates across devices

Enable Sync for Existing Notes
Tap Sync Existing Notes to upload your current notes to the cloud. A progress bar will show the upload status. Wait for the process to complete before proceeding.
Tip
Large notebooks with many images may take several minutes to sync initially

Set Up Device Synchronization
To sync with other devices, install Daino Notes on your additional devices and sign in with the same cloud account. Navigate to Settings > Sync & Backup and tap Download Existing Notes.

Test Synchronization
Create a test note with the title
Sync Test on one device. Wait 30 seconds, then check if the note appears on your other devices. If successful, your synchronization is working properly.Tip
If the test note doesn't appear, try manually syncing by pulling down on the notes list
Troubleshooting
Sync not working after setup
Check your internet connection and verify that you're signed in to the same cloud account on all devices. Try signing out and back in to refresh the connection.
Notes duplicating during sync
Go to Settings > Sync & Backup > Advanced and tap Merge Duplicates. This will combine identical notes automatically.
Sync failed due to storage limit
Free up space in your cloud storage or upgrade to a premium plan. You can also change sync settings to exclude large attachments.
Partial notes syncing incorrectly
Force a complete resync by going to Settings > Sync & Backup > Advanced and tapping Reset Sync, then Full Sync.
