- Created at least one note
- Familiar with basic Daino Notes navigation

Search results appear below the search bar in real-time. Each result shows the note title, a preview snippet with your search term highlighted, and the last modified date. Results are ranked by relevance and recency.
Tip
Hover over a result to see additional metadata like note tags and creation date
4
Apply search filters
Click the Filters button next to the search bar to access advanced options. You can filter by:
- Date range - search notes from specific time periods
- Tags - limit results to notes with certain tags
- Note type - filter by text notes, checklists, or attachments
Tip

#tagname in the search bar. For example, typing #work will show all notes tagged with "work". You can also combine tag searches with regular text searches like #meeting agenda.Tip
Click on any tag within a note to automatically search for all notes with that tag
7
Clear and refine searches
Click the X button in the search bar to clear your current search and return to the full notes view. To refine your search, simply modify the text in the search bar - results will update automatically as you type.
Tip
Use the search history dropdown (clock icon) to quickly repeat previous searches
Troubleshooting
Search returns no results for text I know exists
Check for typos in your search term and try searching for partial words. Also verify the note hasn't been moved to Archive or Trash - use the filter options to search these locations.
Search results are loading slowly
Clear your browser cache and ensure you have a stable internet connection. If you have a large number of notes, try using more specific search terms or apply date range filters to narrow results.
Can't find recently created notes in search
Wait 1-2 minutes for new notes to be indexed for search. If the issue persists, refresh the page with F5 or log out and back in to sync your notes.
Search highlights appear in wrong locations
This usually occurs with very long notes. Try scrolling through the note or use the browser's find function (Ctrl+F) as a backup to locate your search term within the opened note.
