How to set up calendar integrations on ClickUp

Click your workspace avatar in the bottom left corner, then select Settings from the dropdown menu. In the left sidebar, navigate to Integrations to view all available integration options.

Scroll through the integrations list and locate your preferred calendar service. Click on Google Calendar, Outlook Calendar, or Apple Calendar depending on your needs. Click the Connect button next to your chosen service.

A new window will open prompting you to sign in to your calendar service. Enter your credentials and click Sign In. Review the permissions that ClickUp is requesting and click Allow or Accept to grant access to your calendar data.

Select which ClickUp spaces and lists you want to sync with your calendar by checking the appropriate boxes. Choose your sync direction: One-way (ClickUp to Calendar) or Two-way sync. Set your default calendar for new events and specify which task fields should appear in calendar events.

Configure how tasks appear in your calendar by selecting Display Options. Choose whether to show task names, due dates, assignees, and priority levels. Enable Smart Scheduling if you want ClickUp to automatically suggest optimal times for task completion based on your calendar availability.

Navigate to any list or folder in ClickUp and click View in the top toolbar. Select Calendar from the view options to see your integrated calendar data alongside ClickUp tasks. Toggle between different calendar views using Day, Week, or Month options.

Create a new task with a due date in ClickUp and verify it appears in your external calendar within a few minutes. If using two-way sync, create an event in your external calendar and confirm it syncs back to ClickUp. Check that task updates in ClickUp reflect in your calendar and vice versa.
