How to use batch AI content generation on Ahrefs

Access the AI Content Generator

Upload or Input Your Keywords

Set Advanced Parameters

Review and Start Generation
Preview your batch settings in the Generation Summary panel. Check the estimated AI Credits Cost and Processing Time. When ready, click Start Batch Generation to begin the process. You'll see a progress bar showing completion status.

Monitor Generation Progress
Track your batch job in the Generation Queue section. You'll receive email notifications when completed. Click View Progress to see individual article status. Failed generations will show error messages for troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting
Batch generation fails or gets stuck
Check your internet connection and AI credit balance. Try reducing batch size to 25-50 keywords and ensure keywords are properly formatted (no special characters or duplicates).
Generated content is low quality or irrelevant
Refine your keyword selection and be more specific with Target Audience and Content Type settings. Use longer, more descriptive keywords for better context.
AI credits depleted quickly
Monitor credit usage in Account Settings > AI Credits. Longer content and advanced features consume more credits. Consider upgrading your plan or reducing word count per article.
Export function not working
Ensure pop-up blockers are disabled and try a different browser. For large batches, export in smaller chunks of 20-30 articles at a time to avoid timeout issues.
